Well, let’s start right here. First things first – I am NOT a content writer. If you’re expecting Shakespeare, you’re in for a disappointment. I didn’t walk out of school clutching an English A-level or whatever, so as long as you can understand this, we’re golden. Consider this your official warning, Grammar Police: it’s time to take the day off!

I won’t bore you with a long “about me” section – you can snoop around the About Us page for that. Instead, let’s talk about the fun stuff: the project. What it is, what got us here, and most importantly, why.

I’ve been teaching photography to secondary school students for a while now – and that’s not all. Before this, I enjoyed a tiny bit of success (ahem) with my Microsoft Theme, which casually racked up over 55 million downloads worldwide. No biggie. Want to see what all the fuss was about? So, what’s this platform all about, you ask? Well, we’re here to help you learn photography, obviously! We’re starting with our beginner courses, because let’s face it, nobody becomes a pro by pointing the camera and hoping for the best. These courses are broken down into bite-sized, brain-friendly chunks – because we know nobody (and I mean nobody) wants to tackle the exposure triangle and camera settings all in one go. Overwhelming? Yes. Achievable in a day? Absolutely not. We like to take it slow and steady, with the goal of making photography something everyone can learn, no matter where you’re starting from.

And here’s some exciting news: we’re going beyond the classroom. We’ll be offering on-location courses where you can meet with your tutor face-to-face and soak in the magic of photography together. You’ll also get handouts to keep, so you can refer back to them when that “Wait, what did they say about ISO?” moment inevitably hits.

But if you can’t make it in person – worry not! We’ve got live online courses too. You’ll get all the worksheets a few days beforehand, so you’re fully prepared. And nope, these aren’t those pre-recorded videos where you’re stuck watching in silence. These are live sessions where we encourage you to interact, ask questions, and be part of the action. After all, it’s about your learning!

Plus, our small group sizes mean that our expert tutors can give you plenty of attention – even if you’re one of the shy ones lurking in the back. Yes, you!
