This course is beneficial for beginners who have just acquired their first camera, hobbyists, aspiring photographers, and even professionals who want to expand their expertise.
Whether you want to capture stunning landscapes, portraits, wildlife, or any other subject, understanding camera settings is crucial for achieving optimal exposure, focus, and creative controls. This camera settings courses is designed to provide practical guidance and hands-on experience to individuals who want to improve their photography skills and make the most of their camera’s capabilities.
Some of the topics covered are:
- Different types of cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, compact, etc.)
- White balance
- Focus modes
- Histogram
- Shooting modes
- Raw vs Jpeg
- Lens (different zooms, numbers on the rings, IS modes)
This course prepares you for Course 2 – Aperture Fundamentals, At the end of this course users will be able to use the camera settings in much more detail and change camera settings where necessary with confidence.
Key Details
The course will be 3 hours long with 8 participants, although the time can vary if there are less participants. This will not have any impact on the quality of learning. If there are less than 4 participants the course may be postponed and another date will be offered. The meeting point will be sent in your welcome email.
